Recording from a garden in the new forest, hampshire, uk in january. I happened to put the recorder right next to where a bird (blackbird i think) decided to perch and start singing, so the song is really loud in places. All sorts of background people noise like diy, chainsaw, voices, etc. Zoom h5, internal xy capsules.

I captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera. It was a horrible night, with strong winds and heavy rain. I went to my garden shed and positioned my camera at the small window inside my shed as there is a small hole in the right hand corner of the window, and through this small hole the wind blows through it making this whistle sound, almost like a flute. This sound of mine is for anyone to use, no credit needed, but it would be nice if you could tell me what your going to use it for, if possible, that would be fun. :) http://creativecommons. 10am sunday in the middle of the lockdown for corona virus, covid19. Recorder left in garden then edited down to remove most of dog barking at neighbours, the few cars that passed and distant conversation that might otherwise ruin the purpose of recording just the bird song. Not the best example of bird song for which i will have to get up at dawn.

This particular recording was taken a bit further back from the fountains to try and achieve a more ambient sound, capturing bird song, light winds, distant traffic and park keeper activity.
